July (2025) Monthly Update
June has been a wild month on my side of the pond. One one hand, my time and energy have been improving at an amazing rate and I feel more eager to work on things! On the other hand, I have to relearn to be more careful with spending as I am much more limited than originally thought with sudden expenditures already popping up and screwing me over.
But, I’m not going to let that deture me as July is looking to be busy.
Art Update
It’s hard to believe already a month has gone by and it has lead to so much art being produced. So much in terms of works and content. I’m hoping too make more this month and it’s looking actually quite plentiful!
There is going to be a light adjustment when it comes to posting commissions. The plan is still to focus on schedule the pieces, but for sites that showcase commissions like VGen, those will be posted week-of-completion (day-of normally with some wiggle room if needed); as a way to showcase current artistic progress to future commissioners.
Merch and Markets update
On the merch side, it’ll be more focused on paper-based products for the time being. This is because of the situation I left myself in. While I have more freedom, I no longer have the financial safety for most things. So stickers, prints and others are the best bets right now. I am planning for more stickers this month so look out for those. The Etsy official opening is going to be this month as well so look out for those. As well as a few other things including…
New Payment Method: 📘 Venmo
Due to a lot of vendors having one, I decided to invest in a Venmo (Business) account. This is also another avenue that people can pay thru if they decide to purchase merch at my booth, or even order a commission. I still personally prefer Square but it’s never bad to have more options.

Monthly Supporter Test: Monthly Fanart Poll/Recommendation
I noticed this with a few other platforms and wanted to try this out for myself. In the Month of July, look for a post coming out for Monthly Supporters to submit what fanart you would like to see.
I want to start with this before doing polls, as I’ve seen other artists do the same. This could also be a good way to promote myself thru fanart. It’s an experiment tho so if no recommendations come from it, then it’ll stop there.
Streaming Update
We are SO BACK! In combination with Braynnorth’s Wednesday streams along with utilizing streamer.bot, the stream has not only been upgraded but also much more ongoing streams as well. As I am typing this, there is the “Scuf-Life 2” streams which have been fun as hell tho I can only do about 2-3 hours of it before it gets too much! I’m hoping to not only do more streams in the future working on assets and showing off my progress, but also add more channel rewards to make it more fun and even try to get more clips! Which leads me into another thing…
Videos/Shorts (Need to) Returning….
With the needed icons (finally) completed, and the clips I got from the last stream being…. pretty funny; I think it’s time to get some shorts done. I can’t promise a lot, I’m mainly hoping for Art, Books and Gaming. I don’t know if I’ll go back to full-on videos but at least I’ll have these little videos. This is also a good way to do promotions for my stuff so let me dust of Davinci and I’ll hopefully be back with an update on it.
(I will stick with YouTube and maybe TikTok, I still don’t feel comfortable with Meta’s platform enough to post there as well.)
Conclusion
July tends to be the “Struggle” month, so it is uncertain what might happen that will REALLY effect me hard. I wanna say I am prepared but in actuality I am far from that. The best thing to do is to keep at my current remote and just PUSH the art business much much more. I do have a good feeling about this, just need to keep the head up high. With it being the midpoint of the year, it feels good that it’s a bit calmer.
