Hello and welcome to this new year of Djiinuary! With the long break of January, I did have to relearn and get back to the groove of things. But, let’s get to the monthly update shall we?

Djinnuary Celebration and Discounts!

I like to do this every February after a good break to recharge, rebuild, and coming back. And with Centaurs and Merfolk having their own months at this point, why not let genies have their own month? For genie-related stuff, I’m going to be doing a discount on them. 10% on genie-related merch and 20% on genie-related commissions including the Djinnification YCH.

I do try to keep most of the content focused on genies but sometimes it can’t be helped with holidays that have perfect opportunity for theme’d art. Either way, look forward to the spreading of genie goodness! Art Update

As mentioned above, a lot of it is going to be theme’d for genies but I’m glad to be getting back to it. Of course, energy and time is needed but I’m hoping to build it back up properly with everything now that a personal project is completed.

Also, with the OC Ballot now completed, not only do I have a good idea on what art will be done for this year but also I wanted to do something to celebrate Follower Milestones. Heavily inspired by seteza.art on Bluesky, I wanted to put my OCs in an outfit and as voted in that OC Ballot it’ll be maid attires! So look forward to that for follower milestones on ANY of the platforms I am on. The first (fullbody) one is thanks to the account on Cara hitting 50+ followers.

Speaking of milestones, Bluesky and deviantArt are in the running to hit 3K followers/watchers. What I’ll probably do is that I’ll work on art raffle for whenever that happens. There is STILL the raffle prize for the winner that help me surpass my old Twitter follow, I’ve been working on that on and off in the meantime. Either way, look forward to that as it’s a milestone I’m still shocked I’m even near.

New Postybirb

Postybirb looks to have gotten a new version, 4.0! It looks to add a number of changes, fixes and additions. It’s made things much easier and I was even able to add Cara and ToyHouse, so those will be better kept up with now!

Postybirb is a tool that has allowed me to do many art postings across many different platform. It has become a major lifeline at this point and is a tool I recommend every artist use! It does look like some quirks need to be ironed out but I’m still excited either way.

Streaming - We finally have a date for the Knight of Hollows

It’s looking like some days are opening back up. I can’t garantee it but lookforward to more streams. I hear TF2 Classified is now on Steam and gotta do those are streams of course!. But the big thing is that I’m finally doing Hollow Knight!… AS LONG AS NOTHING HAPPENS ON SUNDAYS… I’m planning on the first part to be on Friday, February 8th at 5 or 5:30pmET. Thank you for anyone who has been looking forward to this.

Shorts conga-lining back!

There’s a good amount now in storage that I can start rolling out shorts on YouTube. Going by the schedule of Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5pmET. I’ll try to have the Saturday shorts lineup with the new art but sometimes that doesn’t always happen. These shorts have been nice too as while I do enjoy making videos, I don’t have time to make long-form ones the majority of the time.

Conclusion

Even with what feels like a few things backed up, I’m still excited to be making more art and things are slowly falling into a comfortable place! I do hope you look forward to everything coming out this month!
