August (2025) Monthly Update
Wait…. July is over?? Wow! It honestly feels like a blur and yet a few steps forward! The world is feeling hotter and I feel like I’m cooking! There’s quite a bit packed into this so take your time as I’m a little excited for the future.
Art and Supporters Update
Wow, back on the train for sure! While I’m not as on top of the weeklies as I liked… I’m COMPLETING THE WEEKLIES! LETS GOO!!!! I’m also keeping up with some of the neglected platforms I’ve been on like Cara.app! And yet, it’s still getting pretty busy! From the looks of things, quite a few commissions coming up to work on. But wait, THERE’S MORE:
(Re-)Entering the 3rd Dimension
This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while with Blender. I have a lot of friends that like to use the software and I’ve been wanting to use it. A combo of time and sadly my own paranoia has stopped me from doing it but now I want to work on some 3D models again, especially for an upcoming commission.
Patreon…. reopened??! 😱
Years ago, I use to be exclusively a Patreon creator. However, I ended up leaving the platform many years later due to elements that were not available at the time and it’s competitor Ko-Fi offered. Now, I am on many, many platforms and try to dedicate my time to uploading to all of them, this includes services like SubscribeStar. But I am under the belief that it’s best to have multiple pillars incase anything happens.
It is for this reason that I ended up going back to Patreon. The other reason is that due to it being more popular, that more people actively look for a creator’s Patreon page.
OTHER PLATFORMS WILL NOT BE ABANDONED, Ko-Fi will still be treated as the main platform. Just having multiple places to upload and for places people can support monthly (even as backups) go a long way.

Update with Grand-Taurs and the Experimental Post-Taur tiers
So, the test is complete, and no one was interested in the tier from the looks of things. What that means is that the tier will be dissolved. But instead of nothing happening. I’ll be keeping the benefits of the Express-Taur tier and the standard Monthly Mail will be going towards the Grand-Taur tier! I’ll be reaching out to the current tiers and modifying the other tiers shortly.
Merch and Markets update
So far quite a lot of progress has been done!! I finished making my own templates for prints so you’ll see how they look when up on the wall(s). As well as more stickers! All of this is leading to something new and exciting.
Etsy Opening
Finally, I’ve been building up to it for a while but it’s looking like THIS MONTH will finally have that big opening, along with a discount for said opening. Several people have been unsure of it for a while but given that there are many people actively looking for products on the site it can’t hurt to try.
One thing I will say is that prices are higher there than on Ko-Fi due to Etsy’s fee. Apologies but since my prices are often pretty close to the manu rates, it’s best to have them at this price.
A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES: INPRNT
Well, never would have thought it would happen but here we are! On a whim I decided on July 28th (after I finished the og final draft) to submit after seeing an art friend make it and well… I finally got one. Not fully planned but I’ll accept it!
Right now I’m going to get a lot of my current art prints onto the site and adjust from there. Expect a full announcement in the near future but in the meantime, here’s a link!

It’s unsure, but there’s a good chance this will be the last public event for the year if I’m not able to get into other conventions. Either way, I’m excited to be there.
Streaming Update
Right now feeling feels all over the place, it’s due to a combination of my schedule plus what I want to do vs. time. I’m happy with how Scuf-Life is going, but I know there is more I want to do just got to push it off for now. You’ll probably see more art streams as there’s a shocking amount of work piling up! I’m hoping to do another set of LP Streams with possibly Sonic Adventure 2, tho will look into modding it on the Steam Deck.

The sad part is that it’s been great keeping me productive, so what should I do if I want to work, want to stream, but don’t want to do the effort with all the tech needed to do a stream on YouTube? Simple: Make an announcement channel!
These will be more or less “when I feel like it” and have the time, but I’m more than happy to start them whenever. Next time, I’ll make a light announcement so people can check it out.
Where Video At??
I am a human that is shit at managing time. That is the best reason. I have the tools, I have the footage, even the video in mind. Just carving that time to work on the video and not… (checks notes) hanging out with friends. ..nah, I can multitask that! XD But seriously, I do feel bad that I haven’t been able to even get a short out. I’ll try to craft something before the end of the year.
Conclusion
As always, anything can change and shift around but I SO WANT to work on all of the things listed here. I just need to chip away at it and just get things done! I’m hoping to get the majority of this completed in August at the very least.
