Correction: June 1 Lizzie Borden issue

Earlier today we sent a feature on Lizzie Borden's death anniversary that contained several factual errors. The original email has been replaced with a corrected version at the archive link below. We apologize for the confusion.

What changed: the original article incorrectly said Lizzie Borden died "35 years to the day" after her acquittal and that she was tried "before a Fall River jury" (the trial was in New Bedford). It also misstated when she and her sister Emma became estranged, and included an unrelated image of an American Airlines aircraft that did not belong in the article. The corrected version uses accurate dating, the trial location, and the sisters' estrangement timeline.
