CVMC e-News 25th January 2026

Just a note to say that, a couple of people have contacted me to say that they had not received the last couple of CVMC e-news. It was found that their PCs, Laptops, whatever, had decided that that the CVMC e-news was SPAM. Really! So, if you suddenly stop receiving the CVMC e-News, your SPAM folder should be the first place to look. Of course, if you haven’t had this weeks copy you won’t know – but hopefully somebody near you will have and can appear a tech wizard by suggesting the solution.
One other point, this weeks e-news has a couple of links to documents which I would encourage you to click on. Please look out for them. Thank you

…think about our financial response to God’s love. Over the last few weeks in Uffculme and Willand we have been thinking about God’s amazing generosity to us in Jesus Christ which can transform every fibre of our being. Rev Ben has written a letter, which is attached to the email, encouraging us to think about our financial response to God’s love. If you didn’t manage to take a hard copy from church, or if you attend Kentisbeare, please prayerfully read through the LETTER which is linked.

And another thing – or two…

Willand Youth Club The youth club are looking for volunteers in order to keep the club going.  They have great facilities at the far end of the Village Hall, with free parking.  It is an ideal safe place for our young people to meet. We were delighted when the young people decorated a windowsill in church last harvest, and also at Christmas.  They have great artistic talent! If you feel able to help with maybe a cookery session, or craft session, or sports, tuck shop, or just a friendly helping hand, please get in touch with volunteer leader Jess Margrie for more info on 0745 296 1040. Thank you.
