Additional Details:

Lent Lunches - we are in Square Corner Uffculme. every Wednesday, 12 noon to 1.30pm, until the 25th of March.  All are welcome to join us for homemade soups and fellowship. We just serve soup and fresh rolls. No teas or coffees.  Please, do come and join us.

The Bible Course – KINGS – the Story of Power. God gave leaders to guide the people of Israel – Judges like Samson and Deborah, kings like David and Solomon.  But despite God’s help, they didn’t always rule wisely. 7pm Wednesday @ St Mary’s Church Hall, Willand

Ladies of Willand meet for a meal and a social time together at a local hostelry, on Friday 20th March, at 6.30pm.  If you would like to join them, just email Chris Dodds at doddsy4203@gmail.com, so you can be sent the menu.  

Uffculme Film Club Saturday 21 March 7pm Square Corner Lounge. "Shall We Dance" (PG-13) (a romcom),:Despite having a great career and a loving family, lawyer John Clark (Richard Gere) is missing something in his life as he meanders listlessly from day to day. On his commute back home one night, Clark notices a stunning woman (Jennifer Lopez) in a dance studio and decides on a whim to join a class for ballroom dancing. While Clark finds a new spark in his life, his wife, Beverly (Susan Sarandon), grows suspicious of his frequent absences, since he decides to keep his dancing a secret.

Finally…

We are sad to inform you that Joan Persey passed away on Saturday 7th March. Joan was a valued member of the Willand Church family for many years. Her funeral will be on 2nd April at 12noon.  A celebration of her life will follow in Willand church hall.
