Scripture: Luke 1:26-56

12:30 PM Adult Sunday School: Pastor Mark Herzer will be continuing his series on the Westminster Larger Catechsim, Questions 25 & 26.

Children Sunday School: Deb Bowen will be teaching children from 3 years on up, in the front Sunday School room.

Church Luncheon: Immediately following our Sunday School. All are invited. Plan to stay for food and fellowship. We ask those with last names beginning with A-H to please bring a main dish & side dish to serve 12 or so people. If you cannot bring anything, please still join us. In addition we need help with clean up each week, so please pitch in!

Christian Classics Club will be meeting this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. as we continue our Study of a’Brakel’s The Christian’s Reasonable Service. This week we will be discussing the Lord’s Prayer: The Fourth Petition: Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread (3:539-554).

Upcoming Events

November 15th - Presbytery is meeting at Lansdale Presbyterian Church @ 9:00 am.

November 19th - Wednesday Night Bible Study via Zoom. We will read and discuss together Isaiah 63:15-64:12, and then spend some time in prayer. Contact Pastor Mark or one of the elders if you would like to receive the weekly Zoom link.

News and Announcements

Changes to Sunday Lunch - Coming in December - The elders have been discussing how we might simplify things for our families. The biggest change would be asking people to bring food only once a month.

• 1st Sunday of the Month - Regular Lunch - Family list to follow

• 2nd Sunday - Church provides hotdogs, rolls, and condiments. Feel free to bring your favorite chips, etc.

• 3rd Sunday - Regular Lunch - other half of the families brings food

• 4th Sunday - Church provides hotdogs again

• 5th Sunday - No lunch. A good chance to get together with others.

Our Church Building is Getting a New Roof!

Wayne Bowen oversaw the first day of replacing the church’s roof. Everything should be finished this week.

Nursery Room Renovations - You may notice some changes coming in our Nursery. We are planning to renovate it to create a pleasant and quiet place for mothers nursing their babies. More details to come.

Special Prayer Requests

• Chuck Glass - Matt’s grandfather has been recently hospitalized. Thankfully there have been no signs of a stroke or permanent damage. Pray for his recovery.

• Presbytery this Saturday (15th) - there will be some important issues voted on. Pray for wisdom.

Home Visitation: If you would like a home visit with Pastor Mark or one of the elders, email Pastor Mark to schedule.

Special Attention: Live Streaming will be available during each Sunday morning worship service beginning at 10:45 a.m. This is currently being hosted on the church’s Facebook page.
