12:30 PM Adult Sunday School: Join us as Pastor Mark Herzer continues our study of the Westminster Larger Catechism, exploring Q&A 35 and the ways God’s grace is administered under the New Testament.

Children Sunday School: Deb Bowen will be teaching children from 3 years on up, in the front Sunday School room.

There is no Church Luncheon this week: This is the first time we have had a 5th Sunday since we started the new lunch schedule. The idea is to give everyone an opportunity to invite others into their homes after Sunday School and practice the art of hospitality!

Snacks: All are welcome to bring snacks as they desire.

Catechism Review

Don’t forget to keep up with your Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC)! This week we are reviewing Q&A #53-55:

Q. 53. Which is the third commandment?

A. The third commandment is, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Q. 54. What is required in the third commandment?

A. The third commandment requireth the holy and reverent use of God’s names, titles, attributes, ordinances, word and works.

Q. 55. What is forbidden in the third commandment?

A. The third commandment forbiddeth all profaning or abusing of anything whereby God maketh himself known.

Upcoming Events

April 1st - Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting via Zoom. We will read and discuss together a passage from Jeremiah 3, and we will spend some time in prayer. Contact Pastor Mark or one of the elders if you would like to receive the weekly Zoom link.

April 14th - Presbytery Meeting - Please pray as we deal with a church that appears to be violating our constitutional standards.

Changes to Sunday Lunch - Now in effect.

• 1st Sunday of the Month - Regular Lunch - A-G
• 2nd Sunday - Church provides hotdogs, rolls, and condiments. Feel free to bring your favorite chips, etc.
• 3rd Sunday - Regular Lunch - H-Z families bring food
• 4th Sunday - Church provides hotdogs
• 5th Sunday - No lunch. A good chance to get together with others.

Special Prayer Requests

We have a larger than normal number of people with physical issues. Let us hold them up in prayer:

• Patty Carnes - recurring pain, waiting for surgery to be scheduled;
• Terry Carnes - continued recovery;
• Nick Galanti - bronchitis;
• Calvin Herzer and Mark Herzer - pneumonia;
• Samantha Murphy - flu;
• Tim Roof - upcoming surgery;
• John Sheetz - his doctors continue to monitor him;
• Karis Smith (Mark and Martha's daughter) has pneumonia and is expecting any day now;
• Bob Wilson - recovery and diagnosis.

We praise the Lord that we are all in His hands and can fully rest in His love and care. Pray that we would all honor Him as we trust in Him.
