Lord's Supper – We will be partaking of the Lord’s Supper during the Morning Worship Service. According to the Westminster Shorter Catechism Q97, those of us preparing to receive the Lord’s Supper are to examine ourselves of our knowledge to discern the Lord’s body, of our faith to feed upon him, of our repentance, love, and new obedience; lest, coming unworthily, we eat and drink judgment to ourselves.

Annual Congregational Meeting - We will meet immediately after the Morning Worship Service this morning to go over the budget. Everyone is invited to attend, although only communicant members may vote.

12:30 PM Adult Sunday School: Join us as Pastor Mark Herzer continues our study of the Westminster Larger Catechism, continuing to explore Q&A 32 and the ways God’s grace is displayed in the second covenant.

3:00 PM Christian Growth Group: We will be going over Thomas Brooks' An Ark for all God's Noahs, pp 63-78, as we consider what a wonderful thing it is to be able to say "The Lord is my portion." (Lamentations 3:24)

Children Sunday School: Deb Bowen will be teaching children from 3 years on up, in the front Sunday School room.

Church Luncheon: Immediately following our Sunday School. All are invited. Plan to stay for food and fellowship.
Reminder: This Sunday we are asking those with last names beginning with A-G to please bring a main dish & side dish to serve 12 or so people.
If you cannot bring anything, please still join us.
Snacks: All are welcome to bring snacks as they desire.

Catechism Review

Don’t forget to keep up with your Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC)! We are learning Q&A #53 & 54 this week:

Q. 53. Which is the third commandment?

A. The third commandment is, Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Q. 54. What is required in the third commandment?

A. The third commandment requireth the holy and reverent use of God’s names, titles, attributes, ordinances, word and works.

Upcoming Events

March 4th - Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting via Zoom. We will read and discuss together a passage from Jeremiah 1, we will spend some time in prayer. Contact Pastor Mark or one of the elders if you would like to receive the weekly Zoom link.

News and Announcements

Changes to Sunday Lunch - Now in effect.

• 1st Sunday of the Month - Regular Lunch - A-G
• 2nd Sunday - Church provides hotdogs, rolls, and condiments. Feel free to bring your favorite chips, etc.
• 3rd Sunday - Regular Lunch - H-Z families bring food
• 4th Sunday - Church provides hotdogs again
• 5th Sunday - No lunch. A good chance to get together with others.

Special Prayer Requests

• Pray for the Kermahs as they have returned to Ghana. Pray for health and strength as they adjust to going from cold and snow to Ghanian heat, as well as moving in to their new place. Pray also for Jeff as he continues to establish the Lord's ministry there.

• Pray also for Pastor Mark as he has been dealing with a severe cough this week which is keeping him from getting much needed sleep.

Home Visitation: If you would like a home visit with Pastor Mark or one of the elders, email Pastor Mark to schedule.
