We’ve been working on the drag performance moments in the show with Neon Calypso, our incredible drag consultant for the production!

In 2020, Neon was featured on the limited series NightGowns, directed by Sophie Muller. The show follows Sasha Velour, the creator and host of the long-running drag show “NightGowns” in New York City, and her cast members as they prepare for the biggest drag showcase of their lives. The whole series is a wonderful glimpse into the diversity of style and presentation in drag, the various elements needed to put together a number, and the personal stories and artistry behind each performer.
