I'm still looking for work! I now came back to Germany without much money. Having to rely on public transport in Cologne these days which is not a great experience.

But maybe I will find a great job soon? After 420 days abroad I feel mixed about being back in Cologne.

1. How to use AI Coding Tools Well - AI tools for coding are incredibly useful, in this post I go into practices for utilising them well. Applies to any tool such as ChatGPT's Codex, Claude Code, Cline, Cursor, Kimi, etc.
2. How to setup and adjust Sveltia CMS for an Astro Markdown Blog - After some research I found Sveltia CMS to be the best simple solution to edit markdown content, so in this post I go into details on how to set it up and a few fixes I had to implement.
3. Working Holiday in Japan: My Experience and Practical Tips - Wrote about my Working Holiday in Japan, stayed mostly in Osaka and Tokyo.

Projects:

1. I released my first npm package! It's a Web Starter to build your own static website using my Astro Starter Template mentioned below.
2. Astro Starter Template by Bryan Hogan - I heavily improved my Astro Starter Template recently. I think I'm close to it being the best way to build a simple blog that you fully own, including markdown support and modern UX.
3. ToLearnKorean Korean Guide - I also improved parts of my Korean guide, the navigation should now be easier. Been writing new chapters for it as well, but they haven't been released yet as I want to release them together. Also improved the existing chapters.
