Hey friend,
it has been another month. This edition went out a few days later than I would have liked, being in Korea and catching Covid caused a slight delay.

It has been my first month after I quit my work, a decision that was filled with a lot of uncertainty for me. It was a good opportunity, a somewhat flexible job that was well paid. But nonetheless, I felt like it was a good decision to quit.

So now I am in South Korea for two months, and it's great. There were some negatives I forgot about while I was in Germany, like how hot and humid the summer is or how hard it is to find a healthy breakfast. It also feels different to not be in a university or some other activity, this makes it a lot harder to meet people naturally.
But overall I am very happy to be back again. I missed getting affordable meals outside, the pretty cafes, the amazing public transport, the plethora of outside activities, the always great service and of course my friends in Korea which I hadn't seen in a long time.

Many of which I still haven't seen since when I came back to Seoul from Cheonan I was forced to stay at home due to getting Covid and feeling ill. My fever symptoms have already got a bit better but I am still spending most of my time in bed, at least it's good to know what's the cause and that I will get better.

Something that can't be said about other health problems I am still having. Once I return to Germany my tonsils will get removed and I will stay a week at the hospital. I will also hopefully find out that I have some specific food intolerance.

But instead of already thinking about what I will be up to in Germany when I return I want to focus on my time in Korea now. There are so many things I want to do, so I hope I recover quickly and can get out there again!

Also got two job interviews lined up this month to hopefully earn money while living in Korea, what a great combination that would be!
