Hi there, hope you’re well.
I have been super busy this last month. It’s funny, I always feel like I haven’t done anything but I was looking through the code changes I have made recently and there’s been a LOT of updates.
The best place to see the changes is the Changelog but this is pretty high level and there’s been many other changes that are too small to list.
Most of the improvements have been to the animated gif maker and hopefully contribute toward making the animation experience smoother and more enjoyable.
The reason I have been making these changes is that I have been working on a Brush Ninja Youtube channel. As I’ve been making the videos I’ve found areas that need smoothing out and improving, and so I’ve been changing the app as I go.
Currently there are two videos that show how to use different features in Brush Ninja (Stickers and Images). In the short term I will make more tutorials but in the longer term I would also like to do videos showing how I make animations, and how to use Code Ninja and the other Brush Ninja apps.
If there’s anything you would like to see on the channel then please do reply to this email and let me know.
Towards the end of the month I made this public. Code Ninja is working really well and has also seen a bunch of updates. I have all sorts of plans for this and am really pleased with how it’s looking so far.
Most of the changes have been around making the user interface nicer to use. I want to spend some time adding more features over the next month or two - and then I can think about making Code Ninja 3D!
There’s been some top additions to the gallery this month.
This is fantastic - the longest animation I’ve seen made in Brush Ninja. I’m old enough to remember all the stick fight animations people used to make with Flash so it’s really fun seeing this trend continued in my app!
Check out this amazing animation! I have a 5th grade student that absolutely LOVES using @BinaryMoon‘s #BrushNinja! He has been working on this animation for weeks now! All 377 frames! I think I have a future animator! @HumbleISD_TE @TEMsSowa @HumbleISD_DDI #TransformativeTech pic.twitter.com/vKU0Dzyk4F

Having a 7 year old son - this animation is very familiar to me. Love me some Lego though so I’m happy to roll with it.
Wow! Every single time students amazing me with their talents! This 5th grader’s rendition of himself stepping on a Lego using https://t.co/jDV9fVUWTe @BinaryMoon #sepirates 🏴☠️💕 pic.twitter.com/E2M04frYuf
