Book & Paper Arts Calendar Updates - May 9, 2017
Hello everybody,
If you happen to know of other organizations or locations that will have book & paper arts related classes/workshops, let me know and I will add their classes to the calendar.

The program coordinator for continuing education has let me know that beginning book artists are welcome to the Book Arts retreat at Otis College (see LA Book Arts Retreat June 19 - 23 or below)
The Carpinteria sea glass festival has been removed (supposed to have been Jun 3 - 4). No one can seem to confirm that it will happen. Thanks to Kathleen for making all those calls!
Focus on Book Arts still has open workshops (see Jun 20). Explore driving over the more than 3-mile long bridge over the Columbia River into WA state and when you get to the end decide whether to turn left to Cape Disappointment or right to Dismal Ditch. What a choice! The signs were there in 2015 not sure if they are still there today.
Have not been able to find any workshops in Santa Barbara and am waiting to hear back from a book artist who graduated from UCSB but you can hang out with an owl, hawk or falcon every Thu, Sat or Sun at their Natural History Museum!
