Book & Paper Arts Calendar Updates - April 1, 2018
Happy Easter and Happy April, everyone!
I just got back from an amazing 2 weeks in Maryland and North Carolina. I picked up fossilized shells, coral, sharks teeth and vertebra that were more than 2 millions years old, some were as old as 20 millions years old. Beautiful shells that I had never seen on west coast shores and wild ponies on the Outer Bank islands. It was cold and windy but it was loads of fun - good food and company, great adventures! Hardly any sea glass (well you got that in your goody bags for attending the conference) but all the other finds were just amazing and thrilling. Even the husbands who were attending for the 1st time will be attending from now on. Beach combing converts!
I had a wonderful jacket from these folks to take on my beachcombing trip to MD and NC. They are having a sale! Get on their mailing list to be informed about future sales.
The City of Lincoln City, OR, is offering beachcombing clinics led by Laura, on these dates through spring: March 16 and 31, and April 14 and 27. Get all the details here, or contact Laura for a private tour. Or wander yourself and find a glass float!
If you love paper like I do and are planning a trip to Japan, Venice, London or Paris check out these “Paper Tour” booklets - http://julieauzillon.tictail.com/products/livre
What do you make out of your chopstick sleeve?
Now this is a book - it combines my love of the book and the Japanese puzzle box.
Some beautiful scenery to enjoy in Colorado
