Mewsings from a Bardic Bird 🌟 Attraction, Border – 04-19-23

πŸ’š πŸ€ πŸ’š

A bit of a game, a puzzle, In Which I take two randomly-chosen words, fly to the Cauldron of Creativity, and bring back words - of Thought, of Story - to help you along your Creative Path.

πŸ’š πŸ€ πŸ’š

The title piccy for the Mewsletter, containing a Most Kyoot + Fluffy Feline on the left with Rocko the Bold Circus Kitten kneading their furr and a large Raven flying over a red landscape on the right, all on a bed of Rocco the Cat's furr. Words are as follows and I do indeed quote: Mewsings from a Bardic Bird.

Today’s Mewsings Word: Attraction

Today’s Mewsing: There is an attraction to creativity, to creation.

The attraction of making.

The attraction of connection – with a prrroject, with an Audience.

There is an attraction to that attraction – and not one bit of shame in that.

So, enjoy the attraction – and create!

The title piccy for the Wonderland Section of the Mewsletter, containing a Most Kyoot + Fluffy Feline on the left with Rocko the Bold Circus Kitten kneading their furr and a large Raven flying over a red landscape on the right, all on a bed of Rocco the Cat's furr. Words are as follows and I do indeed quote: Mewsings from a Bardic Bird in Wonderland.Today’s Mewsings in Wonderland Word: Border

Today’s Mewsing in Wonderland: β€œHere we are,” Rocko, the Bold Circus Kitten said to the group of Creatives he was leading along the Creative Path. β€œThe Border bet5ween the Forest of Creativity and the Forest of Wonder.”

β€œBut… everything looks the same,” one of the Creatives said.

β€œIt does,” Rocko replied. β€œAnd that’s an important thing to know about Borders – they exist largely in the Mind.” They looked around at the group. β€œAnd that means they can be changed. Moved. Discarded if no longer of value.”

The group moved on more quietly after that. They’d just been given something powerful to think about. Borders had seemed so… significant before. So permanent. So sturdy. To find out they were neither, none… that was something to ponder, to tuck away in one’s mind and let it percolate beneath the range of Conscious Thought.

On a background of orange tabby cat furr, there is a line graphic of a tabby-cat sitting at a table podcasting, with headphones over their ears, one front paw holding a bunch of papers and the other resting on the table. A big microphone hangs from above in front of them, on which a crow is walking. Rocko is walking on the table, heading for the recording cat’s cup of beverage. Above them all, in white text, the words β€˜Kitten & Crow: CrowCreating’ are written. On the Creative Path, one purrforms a series of expurriments, to see what works for you, for your Audience.

This Expurriment comes from the fact that Creativity encompasses both the Waking World and the Wider World. Why not the Mewsings as well?
