Just a quick update.
Hello friends,
I’ve been a tad bit busy with other things and have had a lot on my hands lately. But no worries, I will resume working on the next James lesson next week (Lord willing). Since we are in the Holiday season, I’ve been a little more preoccupied with family and other matters but will still have time to write.
The best estimate I can give for the completion and posting of lesson 10 is around late December/early January. The lesson after that one (11) should, like lesson 9 posted just previously, be shorter in length. The present verses under study for lesson 10 are a bit more loaded and require more careful attention to detail to work through.
Also, in addition to writing the three large topical studies I mentioned in one of my last updates (Romans 9 and the subject of free will, true Christian love and unity, and debunking the false doctrines of Pre-tribulationalism and Postmillennialism), I have decided that, going forward, I will probably be taking notes through 1, 2, and 3 John (all while keeping everything in its proper context), as opposed to teaching through the entire book itself. This will save me a lot of time and difficulty while allowing me to post more frequently with content that will act as a study aid/guide through the epistle for those examining it themselves (you could think of a study Bible). However, I will most likely work on one or two of the abovementioned topical studies first before diving into 1 John. But all this will only occur after I have completed James.
I hope you all have a good holiday season and that the Lord’s love, peace, and grace would abound in all of you all the more!
Your brother in Christ,
Jordan
