An update to give much expected news: the minichord is now available to buy directly from US and EU warehouses. No more tariff issues!
📦 You can simply go to the usual order page and use the dropdown in the order box to select the relevant location. We hope it’ll help alleviate the uncertainty associated with ordering overseas!
✈️ In other news, SeeedStudio have been kind enough to invite me to the Shenzhen 2025 Maker Faire! I’m looking forward to discovering Shenzhen, and would be very happy to meet minichord users if any are around (I’m already thinking about the goodies I could bring there 🎁).
🛠️ We did not stop making the minichord better!
🔉 Added a new “transient” oscillator to give more attack to the harp section;
🎵 Added new functionalities to transpose and shift around the chords for more flexibility;
🎲 Added a “randomisation” option on the minicontrol page to create random preset on the spot.
Please note that for some of those amelioration, you might need to update your firmware. The procedure is quite simple and explained in the user manual.
Finally as a reminder, please note that the preset sharing website has more and more new exciting presets available. Make sure to send your home-made presets to presets@minichord.com to be included!
Regards,
Benjamin
