Depeche Mode: M + Halloween Parties

Did anyone else have a chance to see Depeche Mode: M? I was able to catch the new concert film, shot over the course of three sold-out shows in Mexico City in 2023, on Tuesday night over at Alamo Drafthouse in L.A. It’s a stunning and thought-provoking movie and I wrote about it yesterday.

Last weekend, East Coast band Pets was in Los Angeles for three shows to celebrate the release of their debut album 🌀? (Spiral Question Mark). I was able to catch their Saturday afternoon show in Elysian Park and interviewed members of the band a few days prior.

Dia de los Muertos events events are happening across Los Angeles. I stopped by both Gloria Molina Grand Park and Olvera Street earlier this week and suggest visiting these daytime exhibitions, which are walking distance from each other.

Also, this is the last weekend to catch Let There Be Gwar at Beyond the Streets. It’s a fun exhibition focused on the art and legacy of the long-running shock rock band.
