Hello fellow seafarers,

It is with heavy heart that we have decided to end our journey and place the Bathysphere in dry dock for the foreseeable future. Sadly, we have all become busy on other projects and I can no longer afford the monthly ButtonDown subscription. Times are hard, even under the ocean.

It has been a great pleasure to explore the hidden realms of video game culture with you. We weren’t sure if anyone would be interested in the things that intrigued us about games and all the related arts, sciences and philosophies they interact with. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your emails and messages – they were very much appreciated.

This might not be the absolute end. We’re planning to write and publish a zine collecting some of our favourite essays, as well as new material. Follow Keith on BlueSky for more details. We’ll also keep our gmail address - [email protected]
