THE WEEK GIST IN REVIEW

Elon Musk as expected is using his not-very-credible concerns about Bot users on Twitter as a way to back out from buying Twitter or better still reduce his initial bid, altogether with a clear intention not to pay the $1bn breakup fee.

Trust me matters like this either stay long enough in the court or is rather settled and amicable.

STUFF THAT ARE WORTH YOUR READ

  • Why you should write a good fit commit message
Trust me I’m a culprit, until recently I saw how important a good commit message can be to one’s perceived clean code. Join the geng and get a glimpse into how important a commit message is to your codebase.

  • How to write a good fit commit message
It is not enough to be informed, learn how to do it too.

  • Reproducible steps to write better variables
Naming variables is one of the most difficult struggles of developers since ages. I hope this article makes it less difficult for you.

CLUB’S UPDATE

  • Next meetup is happening nextweek Saturday:
August 20, all road lead to UI hotels for our next meetup.

  • We are seeking speakers: In good steps of moving forward with the club’s meetup structure, we are seeking speakers who can talk to us ( about topics that are general to techies, or simplified enough for us all) during our general meetup.

If you are interested in speaking with us, please send a reply to this mail with Your name and short description, The topic you are most likely to talk to us about.

  • Design Technical Meetup ๐ŸŽ‰: All plans are being made to ensure we host the first design’s technical meetup. Our Design SCC lead, Jude Ekere, is putting everything in place and trusting us to have a crazy experience. Please tell someone to tell someone about our new experience to come.

  • ๐Ÿ˜ฃ What time are we having the Technical meetup and general meetup?: The time for both events will be shared on Twitter/WhatsApp before Monday. However, you can rest assured they are coming up same Saturday next week and the technical meetup is happening a few minutes before the general meetup.
