Good morning

I know that lots of you attended a NO KINGS 3 protest on Saturday. We saw many of you. I hope you are as exhilarated by the turnout and the vibe as we are. More than 8 million people attended a NK protest. There was one in every Congressional district!

Now the question is, what are we going to do tomorrow, and the day after that, and so on until people who value democracy prevail in the midterm elections and we can start to restore our institutions? It’s time to make your plans.

Make sure you are registered to vote, and to vote absentee. Check with your friends and family to make sure they are as well. Explain the stakes of this election to everyone who will listen — not just as it relates to the economy or prices — but as it affects the future of democracy.

If they are persuaded, move on to the next person. If they are confused or don't agree, put it in terms every American should appreciate: No kings.

The 19th has a new story out about young women inspired to run for office after participating in the first No Kings protest.

“Early anecdotal evidence suggests that participating in No Kings events is motivating the women organizing them to think more about what they can do to support their country’s democracy.” So hopeful!

To end on a lighter note today, someone managed to hack the main White House phone so that it briefly showed the words “Epstein Island” when people called.
