Treasure Coast Indivisible Notes
Good morning
I was listening to an old interview of Jane Goodall where she was asked how she wanted to be remembered. She answered that people told her she gave them hope. And then she explained “hope equals action with others to get things done. Without hope there is only apathy and nothingness. Without hope the future would be very grim.”
I liked that and thought it was worth sharing.
Here is this week’s calendar of important events

Here’s a chance to meet Alex Vindman in person and hear his thoughts on representing the state of FL.
Now I have a WCID. If you are horrified by the vote to allow mining in the Minnesota Boundary Waters, there are several things you can still do to prevent it, and all of them involve contacting the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, which has the authority to block it.
You can send a single postcard to Commissioner Sarah Strommen, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources 500 Lafayette Road St Paul MN 55155
Ask her to protect the fragile ecosystem in the Boundary Waters.
Here is a link to the Friends of the Boundary Waters website, where you can get more information of you are interested.
And of course you can always contact our members of Congress to vote for the War Powers Act.
