Treasure Coast Indivisible Notes
Good morning
I am enclosing an email from Krista Storey for those of you who want to be election workers.
St. Lucie Voter Protection - Organizational Meeting July 1st 6:30pm and Information About FDP Online Training
It is time to kick off our 2026 Voter Protection efforts with an organizational meeting on Wednesday, July 1st from 6:30pm - 8:00 pm at Unity of Fort Pierce, 3414 Sunrise Blvd, Fort Pierce. Please plan to attend in person if at all possible. A Zoom link will be provided a few days before the meeting for those who can’t attend or may be away for the summer.
The July 1st meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about the various volunteer opportunities, get some initial training and/or refresh your voter protection skill set if you are a Voter Protection veteran. Please invite others to attend. Many eyes and ears are needed.
The Florida Democratic Party (FDP) is providing online Voter Protection training beginning Saturday, June 27th. The link to register for the training is provided below. Training sessions are currently scheduled for poll watchers, ballot curers, and canvassing board observers and can be registered for at this link: https://stech.floridadems.org/fdp-voter-protection-volunteer-training-sessions.
If you’d be interested in joining me in a voter protection leadership role, please give me a call at (772)332-1867.
Any questions, call or email me.
Looking forward to seeing you on July 1st.
Krista A. Storey
Voter Protection Team Lead
I know some of you are already election workers. For those of you looking for a WCID, this is an important one.
I will get the info for those of you living in Martin County.
Matt Theobald is the beloved Martin County high school teacher and president of the teachers union who was fired because of a private Facebook post he made about Charlie Kirk.
A judge has recommended that Martin County keep Mr Theobald. So now it is up to the school board to decide. It would be great if there could be a large delegation to support him. Steph Battjer has done some research and the MC board meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month, so the next one will be July 21. But we don’t know if it’s on the agenda. We will keep you informed but for those of you interested, mark your calendar and maybe tell a friend.
That’s enough for today. But for all you outlaws out there, tomorrow is Wednesday and that means we protest at Mast’s office. 11-12
