SAVE SCIENCE
Comment to protect science research - by August 24th
Russell Vought is continuing his attempts to destroy American science & federally funded research. In a nutshell, the National Science Foundation is trying to regulate scientific research so politicians - instead of scientists - can dictate what federally funded research gets funded and published. Public comments are essential to assist in legal fights. Comment here.
Suggested comment (please do not copy verbatim, needs some word changes to be counted):
“Science should not be political. This proposal by the National Science Foundation (NSF) imposes significant economic impacts on grantees, and implements sweeping regulatory control over institutes of higher education via information collection. This attempt to regulate speech and academic freedom at independent universities is a gross overreach of NSF's authority. This proposal is a direct threat to scientific independence, public health, and evidence-based decision-making. Please REJECT this proposed rule.”
