Secondly we have been asked to help Jackie Gary Clarke get elected to the Martin County School Board.
This is Natalie, president of the Treasure Coast Young Democrats. I am reaching out to you in the capacity of the campaign manager for Ms. Jackie Gary Clarke, candidate for Martin County School Board, District 3. A little about her: She is a product of Martin County public schools, her mother worked as a bus driver for the school district, and her own kids went through the public school system here. She is a lifelong resident of Indiantown and she has previous leadership experience from her tenure as Mayor of the Village of Indiantown.
Here are a few ways you can help:
-
Give us a follow on social media. Add us on Facebook at Jackie Clarke for Martin County School Board or on Instagram at @jackie_clarke_school_board. Check out our platform at https://jackiecfmcs.com/. Socials are more important than you think. Help extend our reach!
-
Please consider donating funds to the campaign. Please donate via our website https://jackiecfmcs.com/ or via Zelle at [email protected]. If you donate via Zelle, please provide your full name, address, occupation, and employer in the memo.
-
Put up one of our yard signs (FREE)! Respond to this email with your address to let us know you want a sign and we will drop one off.
-
VOLUNTEER! If you are available to make phone calls or to go out canvassing, please email [email protected] to let me know you are interested and I will follow up :)
If Jackie wins the primary she will be the only candidate in Movember.
Next is from Indivisible
Sign up to join the Hands Off Our Vote Movement, our national program to ensure all eligible voters get to cast their ballot and that those ballots are counted. We know Trump and his sycophants will do everything they can to intimidate voters and sabotage the 2026 election results. We'll be ready to counter their dirty tricks and tactics with the support of Indivisibles all across the US. Read on for more about this campaign below.
Today, the Supreme Court issued a commonsense (but given this court, still surprising) ruling against the Republican scheme to block states from counting votes that arrive by mail after election day. The ruling is a relief -- but it’s not going to put an end to the Trump regime’s attacks on voting or efforts to sabotage the midterms. That’s going to be up to us.
From attempting to unilaterally overhaul election administration via executive order to saying Republicans should “nationalize” elections to ordering USPS to deliver mail ballots only to federally approved names, Trump has signaled nonstop that he intends to interfere with the midterms. That’s why Indivisible is getting into election protection formation. As we mentioned in the to-dos, we launched our new national program, Hands Off Our Vote, to empower all Indivisibles with the tools they need to stay informed and ready to respond to election sabotage. We won’t stop raising our voices until every vote is counted.
For more, download the latest What’s the Plan podcast, How to Get into Election Protection Formation. For this episode, Indivisible co-executive directors Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin are joined by Corey Dukes from Protect Democracy to discuss what we can do about election sabotage.
Then, sign up to join the Hands Off Our Vote campaign and help protect the vote this November!
And last, Steph Battjer wrote that people are planning to protest the renaming of PBI tomorrow at the airport after our protest at Mast’s office. I couldn’t find any info anywhere but if you are interested, email me and I’ll get you in touch with Steph.
Thanks for reading to the end.
