May 2024 Update: So Much Writing, Slime, Interview, Fundraiser Success
Happy middle of May, everyone! Were you lucky enough to get a look at the Aurora Borealis a few days ago? I was! Who knew the sky could do that shit? Let’s get to the updates!
Monstrous Liberation Work
I put in a ton of Monstrous Liberation work this month - work that I’m pretty proud of, even if it’s not terribly exciting to report on in newsletter form.
My work this month was primarily script-writing: the Monstrous Liberation script is now a girthy 12,000 words longer than it was a month ago! 2,000 of those words are for the Diogenes (Minotaur) portion, and the other 10,000 are for the Senza (Succubus) portion - Senza’s portion of the script is now complete, apart from some bells and whistles and edits. The full ML script currently stands at about 27,000 words, and will likely be somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000 words long when we launch in early access.
Since I’ve reached the end of our finished sex scene art, I’ll be taking a break from script-writing this month to focus on getting things set up for the game on the technology side - specifically, getting our custom map, gallery, and character screens working correctly, as well as making sure everything’s working how I want it with regards to narrative progression flags.
My other work on the game was mostly on the documentation/administration side - naming and organizing art assets, handling bookkeeping (our fiscal end-of-year just ticked over, which means it’s income tax time!) and redoing some sex scene design to accommodate the new design for Drizzle, our Slime character. Speaking of…

After she finished updating all of Sasha’s sprites, Pacha’s main focus this month was on updating Drizzle’s design and sprites. As a Slime, Drizzle has three forms - a small bloblike “gel” form, a humanlike “work” form, and a tentacle-y “fun” form (pictured above). The gel form is staying basically untouched, but it was decided to update the “work” and “fun” forms to make them read more mature and hopefully forestall any problems with Steam build approval down the road. In addition to adding more-defined hips and a large bust, Drizzle now has a new “hair” style, new antennae, tentacles in place of their old arms, and a new dynamic rendering style!
Now that Drizzle’s new sprites are done, Pacha’s focus is going to shift to working on their sex scenes!

Adult Analysis Anthology #2 Fundraiser Launches & Meets Its Goal!
Remember that Indiegogo campaign I mentioned in the previous update? It’s live now! And even better, it’s already hit its goal (which was adjusted down to $1200 CAD from $1400 due to one of the contributors backing out at the last minute)! I’m so grateful to everyone who’s contributed and so excited for all the contributors! There are still 7 days remaining before the fundraiser finishes and every dollar we get above the goal will go towards giving the contributors a bigger payout, so please contribute or share the campaign if you haven’t already!
Interview With IOC
In the middle of all the promotion I was doing for the AAA#2 fundraiser, Kyle Labriola reached out to do an interview for Indie Games of Cohost. He made the mistake of not imposing any kind of cap on my wordcount, so if you’d like to read me rambling at length about AAA’s mission, my journey into game development, and my grumbles about working as an adult content creator, give it a read!
New Remembering The Realms Post
This month I also wrote 7,000 words about the worst examples of R. A. Salvatore’s writing for the Forgotten Realms series. I’m not proud of this fact, but there it is.
Wrapping Up
That does it for May's update! Thank you so much for following BP Games and enjoying the things we make!
