Hello all. Our monthly afternoon cinema returns to Burntwood Memorial Institute on the 18th of November. We hope to see you there for our heart-warming British film.

The Ballad of Wallis Island 🎸 Tuesday 18th November at 2pm

Join us at Burntwood Afternoon Cinema on Tuesday, 18th November, at 2pm for "The Ballad of Wallis Island," a heartwarming and hilarious new British film. This charming story follows an eccentric lottery winner who, in a grand romantic gesture, brings his favourite estranged folk duo back together for a private concert on his remote island. It’s a touching and funny exploration of second chances, lost love, and the healing power of music, perfect for anyone who enjoys a tale with real heart and a gentle, witty touch.

Starring the wonderful Carey Mulligan, Tim Key, and Tom Basden, this is a film that celebrates the messiness of life with warmth and humour. If you appreciate stories about personal growth and the enduring power of friendship, this is the perfect afternoon's entertainment. Come along to our friendly community cinema at the Burntwood Memorial Institute, where you'll find good company and a proper cuppa with biscuits from 1:30pm. Tickets are just £5 – because the best stories are even better when shared with friends.

You can buy online at https://aard.at/bwoodfilms, on the phone at 01543 412121, or in cash on the door.
