Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy - Tuesday 17th June at 2pm

She's back, and she's brought all the warmth, wit, and wonderful chaos we've missed! Join us this month for the delightful return of Bridget Jones in her latest adventure, where our beloved heroine finds herself navigating the thoroughly modern minefield of dating in her fifties. RenΓ©e Zellweger slips back into the role like a favourite cardigan, bringing all of Bridget's endearing vulnerability as she juggles motherhood, widowhood, and the question of whether a 29-year-old toyboy or a dashing science teacher might be the answer to her romantic prayers. With Hugh Grant making a perfectly-timed return and Emma Thompson delivering some gloriously sharp one-liners, this heart-warming film proves that life's complications don't get easier with age – they just get more interesting.

Perfect for anyone who's ever felt that growing older means growing wiser about some things and more baffled by others, this touching comedy celebrates the beautiful messiness of being human with typical British charm. As always, we'll have the kettle on from 1:30pm with tea, biscuits, and that warm welcome you've come to expect from our little cinema community. Whether you're a long-time Bridget devotee or simply fancy an afternoon of gentle laughter and genuine heart, this is one diary entry you won't want to miss. See you there for what promises to be a thoroughly entertaining afternoon!
