Love Sarah - 15th April 2025 at 2pm

Indulge your senses this month at Burntwood Afternoon Cinema with "Love Sarah," a heart-warming tale of love, loss, and perfectly baked pastries. When talented chef Sarah tragically passes away before opening her dream bakery, three generations of women unite to fulfil her visionβ€”her estranged mother (the wonderful Celia Imrie), her loyal best friend, and her ambitious teenage daughter. This charming British film serves up the perfect recipe of emotion and gentle humour, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Notting Hill.

With its incredibly talented cast and feel-good storyline, "Love Sarah" celebrates the power of human connection and second chances. Watch as these determined women transform an empty storefront into "Love Sarah," a bakery bringing diverse cultures together through the universal language of delicious treats. You'll be particularly delighted by Celia Imrie's performance as a retired circus star finding new purpose, and Rupert Penry-Jones as a charismatic Michelin-starred chef who adds an unexpected ingredient to the mix.

You can buy online at https://aard.at/bwoodfilms, on the phone at 01543 412121, or in cash on the door.
