The Glass Garden is nearly upon us!
Hi, everyone! I was gonna send this out earlier, but I literally just got off a ship. I was in Bermuda for a few days, generally hiding from the sun and enjoying the antics of the local chickens way too much.
The Glass Garden comes out officially on May 13th, in 18 days. I say “officially” because I have received reports that some who pre-ordered have already received their copies. I used to be mad about this sort of thing; now I just hope it leads to good word-of-mouth and maybe an online review or five.
But if you want to get in on the whole pre-ordering thing (and you do; those sales numbers make a big difference and indicate interest in the title to stores) then please do so! In fact, Barnes & Noble is doing their 25% off preorders discount again, but it ends tonight, the 25th, so you have to scuttle.
And that reminds me! I’m going to be at Barnes & Noble in Hingham for their “Halfway to Hallowe’en” event tomorrow, April 26th, at 1pm. Tell you what. If you pre-order your book through B&N and show me a receipt at the event, I’ll sign a bookplate for you.
