The tale in question is called “Ring of Wax, Armor of Bone,” and bears the distinction of being not only very good, but of being rejected 42 times before it found its way into this volume.

There are over twenty tales of love and adventure and magic and, yes, swords in this volume. I have enjoyed “By Any Other Name” by Jonathan Ficke and “What Honor Dictates” by AL Keane so far, and I haven’t finished yet.
