Happy New Year, upcoming events, and Tanuary 2025
A belated Happy New Year to you all!
I’m writing to let you know about some events Sternendach and I have coming up.
January 25th, 1pm: I’ll be appearing with my fellow local authors at Barnes and Noble in Hingham, MA.
February 13th, 5-7pm: The Next Chapter Books in Quincy, MA, is holding a Galentine’s Day event. There will be refreshments and giveaways!
This feels like the calm before the storm. The Glass Garden isn’t coming out until May, but remember that you can pre-order it wherever you get books. It would mean a lot if you took your business to your local independent bookstore, or indirectly supported them through Bookshop.org.
Here’s that cover again, because it’s so gorgeous.

Tanuary 2025
As is tradition, I’m reading some new (to me) Tanith Lee this month. This year’s entry is Strindberg’s Ghost Sonata and other Uncollected Tales, shown here with the decorative aid of my kid’s viola.

Check my blog next month for a review. If you’ve never read Lee, may I suggest, as I always do, The Silver Metal Lover? I might. I do. Go read it.
OK. Time for me to get back to that outline for my next novel, which is a sort of gothic cosmic horror time travel thing. I can’t wait to see how it ends.
Take care and stay warm!
