Cover reveal for The Glass Garden

Is that a thing of beauty, or what? I know the holidays are less than a week away and everybody’s brain is full, but I didn’t want to sit on this image any longer. Forgive me.
The book is scheduled for release on May 13, 2025, but some have asked about pre-orders. Technically, that hasn’t officially happened yet. But if you were to search for the title on Bookshop.org, well, that’s between you and the powers that be, who do understand how important pre-orders are to authors and publishers, especially indie ones.
Here I must warn you: if you search for the book online, make sure you have the right one. A search for this title on Barnes and Noble’s website, for example, reveals a crappy, probably AI-generated book with a definitely AI-generated cover that even spells the title wrong. That’s not mine. Please don’t order it.
Let’s see, what other news is there…
I am no longer on Twitter
I don’t know if you’ve been following the goings-on at that site, and the utter bullshit of its owner. TL;DR, I will no longer be posting there, though I will keep the account so no one squats on my user name.
My Facebook page has been locked down since it was hacked last year, and Instagram is really annoying me lately. (Social media is not fit for humans, honestly.) I will do most of my posting at Blue Sky, so if you’re there, come find me. https://bsky.app/profile/authorlevai.bsky.social
Eligibility Post
As is tradition, I have created a post on my website that lists all my publications this year. I didn’t get to do that last year, for obvious reasons, so I’m pretty excited. You can view it and catch up by clicking the image below.

If you know anyone who knows someone who has a hand in award nominations, well, feel free to circulate the link.
And I think I hear it, someone in the back, yes, you’re wondering, “Jessica, with all these lovely publications, which I am totally gonna read if I haven’t already, did you even bother making a rejection chain this year?”
You silly rabbit. Of course I did! Let me just get it away from a certain someone.

I’m still 9 rejections away from my goal of 100, so let’s see what happens when mags start clearing out their inboxes. Except for [market name redacted]. I hope they accept it please and thank you.
I hope everyone has a happy holiday and wish you courage in what looks like it will be a rough New Year.
Take care of yourself, and each other.
