A Memorial Weekend Signing, and some announcements
It was so cold yesterday we put on the heat. Tomorrow it’s going to be in the mid-80s. How’s the weather by you?
I have some announcements. One is for this weekend, one is for further ahead, and the third is what they call on author Twitter a “vague publishing tweet.” I’ll keep it short.
In-person book signing this weekend
On May 26th, at 1pm, I will be signing books at Book Love in Plymouth, MA. I’ve been eager to check out this bookstore, and beyond honored that they’re hosting me for this event. I’ll be sharing the space with two other local authors, Christine Knapp and Judy Lannon. If you’re around, stop by!

Local Author Signing — BOOK LOVE
Join us for a signing with local authors Judy Lannon, Christine Knapp, and Jessica Levai. These three ladies will be here to chat and sign books from 1pm-3pm.
Upcoming convention
ReaderCon is happening in just 51 days! If you’re local and love speculative books, I can’t recommend this con enough. And it’s the only one I’ve heard that is still requiring masks, so that, to me, is a big win. Maybe I’ll help assemble the Corsi-Rosenthal boxes like I did last year!
I plan to be there, so if you’re around, maybe I’ll run into you. I’m also working to get my book sold in the bookseller’s room; I’ll let you know how that goes.
Vague publishing tweet
I recently signed a contract for something very exciting. My next newsletter I hope to tell you all about it. I’ll let Calvin communicate my enthusiasm:
Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for October 26, 1995 - GoComics
Miss Wormwood: Yes, Calvin? Calvin: Hey kids, on tomorrow's show and tell, I'll be bringing a big surprise! Will it shock or amaze you...or will it disgust and terrify you?? Find out tomorrow when I reveal my next show and tell horror! Don't miss it! Miss Wormwood: Returning to the lesson... Calvin: That's called a teaser, by the way.
That’s all I’ve got for today. Enjoy the weekend, everyone!
