A HUGE announcement
Hello, everyone. I am so excited to share some big news with all of you. Let’s cut to the chase, shall we?
I’m going to ReaderCon!
ReaderCon begins on Thursday night. I’m going to be there early to help set up the dealer room and many, many Corsi-Rosenthal boxes. If you’re going, I hope to see you there.
And if you are going, I’m pleased to announce that Sternendach should be available for purchase via Larry Smith Bookseller in the dealer room, just in case you don’t have a copy yet.
What? That’s not really an announcement, because you already knew about it? Okay. Let’s try another one.
More short stories are out/in the works!
Another piece of my writing has appeared in the most recent issue of Drintera magazine. You’ve seen me create gods of the sun and moon. Now meet Tephera, the creator of life!
I’ve recently signed contracts with Factor Four Magazine and Translunar Traveler’s Lounge, which means two more of my stories are winging your way in the near future! I tell you, after the acceptance drought that was 2023, I am ecstatic…
What, still not big enough? You want an announcement that’ll really knock your socks off? You guys are tough. All right. Here goes…
A second novella is coming out in 2025!
I am pleased to announce that my second novella, The Glass Garden, will be published in 2025 by Lanternfish Press! This is the same publisher that brought you The Night Library of Sternendach, so I know that my new work is in good hands.
The Glass Garden tells the story of a salvage operation that discovers a beautiful and terrible remnant of an ancient civilization on a distant planet. I’m writing in prose this time. My experience in Egyptology and on digs informed the story, so this is a personal work for me. I can’t wait to share it with all of you.
That’s it for me this time. Enjoy your summer and stay cool!
