& MMXXV (2025)
Happy new year. Has been December been good to you? Was 2024 fun? I hope so, to one of them at least. Let’s both wish that this year is gentle with our bodies and our hearts.
That said, onto the news!
Before we start, a quick thing: I forgot to toggle the ‘Archive’ option on. That’s been fixed, so now you can read all letters I’ve sent ∋( :D
In my previous (and first) letter, I mentioned that one of my main projects was being developed on Twine. While that tool is mostly for games, I don’t really call my project a game, because it… isn’t? Not really. I just want to get familiar with the program, so it’ll be relatively simple. I think the term here would be ‘kinetic novel’ (?).
And this project is called… (drum roll here)
The Trek!
Well, that’s what I call it for now. It might change in the future! You know how these things work, developments happen. But for now, we’ll stick to The Trek.
{Cool, what is it about?}
Hmm. I don’t have a concise description yet. I’m in the ‘events vaguely connected together’ stage of development.
That said, I’m ‘recycling’ old characters for this. Characters that were made for a different story, but I kept getting stuck with them to the point of frustation. I don’t like to scrap stories, but sometimes you just gotta admit when something isn’t working and start anew.
And about the development itself. Well…

It’s… it’s certainly going, alright. I’m not a fast person.
Creating things is a hobby, not a full-time job. I don’t think I could endure that kind of pressure, honestly. Cheers to those who do! But I’m slowly chipping away at it myself.
Which means you get to experience this journey from the start with me ∋( :]
