I'm in the corner
watching you kiss her oh oh oh I’m right over here Why can’t you see me? Oh oh oh I’m giving it my all, But I’m not the girl you’re taking home I keep dancing on my own

Robyn’s queer anthem is a my go to when I want to dance by myself.
I also - courtesy of my hermana - joined this Finch self-care app and on Fridays for self care I have on my to-do list to dance to a song I like. So win win.
It’s supposed to improve my mood.
I think it works.
Anyways, as I was flailing around today trying to get some serotonin moving in my brain or a hit of dopamine or SOMETHING I started thinking that my paintings (in the corner) are watching me make out with someone new and filled with longing.

The yearn is strong.
But to take the analogy even further - my paintings are sad they’re in the corner and not on your walls.
We don’t want to dance on our own in Studio Utopia.
We want to dance with you!
Pride month would be a great time to let me know if you’d like to take one of these bad bois home.

As always, feel free to peruse the Art of KCF shop if you’ve been yearning for an Art of KCF original.
My website will break up your purchase into installments if you need - or if you are interested in other payment plans reach out. I mean it.
Let’s dance together!
I'm in the corner watching you kiss her oh oh oh I’m right over here Why can’t you see me? Oh oh oh I’m giving it my all, But I’m not the guy you’re taking home...
I’m so out of line I will keep dancing on my own, but it’s always better with friends.

Can’t purchase an original? No problem, come dance with us over at the members only club behind the red rope where I share behind the scenes works in progress and more updates about Studio Utopia for my biggest fans.
Pretend you’re watching me and I AM taking you home at the end of the night (via my super secret photos of my art process I never post on Meta). It’s fun I promise! It’s called sapphic yearning!
xo,
