ArtAtomic Newsletter September 2026

ArtAtomic: Art+Science+Code by Kristin Henry

It’s been a big year.

First of all, my Oncologist says that I’m now Cancer-free. Yep, I’ve graduated to Cancer Survivor Support.

This has absolutely opened up space in my brain for more creativity. I’ve been drawing a lot, and also experimenting with some printmaking techniques.

It’s been a lot of trial and error, and lots of learning, both with linocut and silkscreen printing.

Next week, I’ll be brining some of these new creations (and some Cell Project workshops) to the Maker Faire on Mare Island.

To help fund the materials, I ran a Kickstarter…which reached funding goal in only two days!

I’ve also been making some new art for buttons and magnets.

For the next week, I’m completely focused on getting ready for the Maker Faire and enjoying the event itself. After that? Perhaps I’ll start experimenting with multi-color screen or linocut printing?

As usual, I post more frequently about my artworks on Mastodon and on my Patreon.
