Kamala is always busy.
Memorable moments of when Kamala and Joe were in Pittsburgh on Labor Day. And she was also in Detroit.
You may not be a union member, but thank unions for the five-day workweek.

You may not be a union member, but thank unions for the eight-hour workday.
You may not be a union member, but thank unions for sick leave, paid family leave, and vacation time.
Let me tell you something: @KamalaHarris and I are damn proud to have protected the pensions of over one million union workers and retirees when I signed the Butch Lewis Act.

Not only did we restore the full amount—we got them their back pay as well.
.@KamalaHarris believes as I do that unions are the spine of this economy. She will be a historic, pro-union president.

Harris opposes US Steel's sale to a Japanese firm during joint Pennsylvania event with Biden
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris used a joint campaign appearance with President Joe Biden in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania on Monday to say that U.S. Steel should remain domestically owned — concurring with the White House’s monthslong opposition to the company’s planned sale to Japan’s Nippon Steel.
Her comments came during a rally before cheering union members marking Labor Day in the industrial city of Pittsburgh, where Harris said U.S. Steel was “an historic American company and it is vital for our country to maintain strong American steel companies.”
“U.S. Steel should remain American-owned and American-operated, and I will always have the backs of America’s steelworkers,” she said.
That echoes Biden, who repeated Monday what he’s said since March — that he opposes U.S. Steel’s would-be sale to Nippon, believing it would hurt the country’s steelworkers. It also overlaps with Republican former President Donald Trump. It’s little surprise that Harris would agree with Biden on the issue, but it nonetheless constitutes a major policy position for the vice president, who has offered relatively few of them since Biden abandoned his reelection bid and endorsed his vice president in July.(Associated Press)

The Harris campaign will send $10 million each to the House and Senate Democratic campaign arms, $2.5 million to the body that helps elect state legislative Democrats and $1 million each to the Democratic Governors Association and the Democratic attorneys general campaign arm, it said. Like the Harris - Walz campaign, do everything you can to make the House Blue and keep the Senate Blue, so Kamala can effect change for the American people. She needs a majority in both Houses of Congress to govern.

Vance Championed 2017 Report on Families From Architects of Project 2025
JD Vance, as he was dipping his toe into politics, praised the Heritage Foundation report — 29 essays opposing abortion and seeking to instruct Americans on how to raise children — as “admirable.”
Years before he became the Republican vice-presidential nominee, JD Vance endorsed a little-noticed 2017 report by the Heritage Foundation that proposed a sweeping conservative agenda to restrict sexual and reproductive freedoms and remake American families.
In a series of 29 separate essays, conservative commentators, policy experts, community leaders and Christian clergy members opposed the spread of in vitro fertilization and other fertility treatments, describing those treatments as harmful to women. They praised the rapidly expanding number of state laws restricting abortion rights and access, saying that the procedure should become “unthinkable” in America. And they cited hunger as a “great motivation” for Americans to find work.
Mr. Vance, then known as the author of a best-selling memoir, became a champion of the project. He wrote the introduction and praised the volume as “admirable,” and was the keynote speaker at the public release of the report at Heritage’s offices in Washington.
The report was released just months after Donald J. Trump became president, as social conservatives were laying the foundation for an aggressive agenda restricting sexual freedom and reproductive rights. Those policies became a hallmark of the Trump administration and Mr. Vance’s political career. (New York Times)
