Again, I ask, do one more thing for Kamala.
Do one more thing for Democracy, for yourself, for today, for the future.
Vote. Get out the vote. Who can you call? Who can you take to the polls? What door can you knock?

Kamala reminds us. When we fight, we win.
If I had one more phrase for the Campaign, it would be this.
Let us finish the unfinished business of America.
We started as a people ruled by kings, queens, royals.
We rejected that. In fact, the people who came from England to start a new country were the first political rebels in modern time. 1649. They beheaded a king. These are our ancestors. This is our unfinished business.
In 1776, they declared new principles. These are our ancestors. This is our unfinished business.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
This is our unfinished business.
To quote Lincoln, “It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.”
We are resisting a would-be tyrant, but we also have a positive view of where we want to travel.

Kamala’s goals- our goals - that lead us to the Future we want and have the right to have.

- end-of-life dignity for all
- a nation of law and justice

By the end of last night, approximately 75 million votes were cast, early, about 1/3 of eligible voters.
What to expect on Election Night.
First, my thanks to the NY Buddy Group which hosted Derek Tisler of the Brennan Center who spoke on "What To Expect on Election Night and Beyond.”
He, plus the many other pundits who provided facts and discussion about what we could expect on Election Night, have allowed me to dare to provide the thoughts that follow, on what we might expect after the polls close tonight.
There are formal legal laws which set mandatory duties on mandatory timelines, that differ in different states, by which a state “reveals” the voting results in a specific state.
First, activities, besides voting, which occurred at the polls during the all consuming week prior to November 5th determine what happens tonight, often all through the night.
Swing States tallies.
The consensus is that the first swing states to give us total will be Georgia (16 electoral votes), Michigan (16 electoral votes),North Carolina (15 electoral votes). These states pre-process (count) mail ballots before the polls close on Election Day.
Pennsylvania and Wisconsin do not pre-process mail ballots before Election Day, and Wisconsin allows only in-person absentee voting before Election Day. In-person voting only occurs on Election Day. Pennsylvania also allows only in-person voting on Election Day. These states will likely be the next tranche of swing states to report.
Arizona and Nevada will be the last of the swing states. Could be 2 weeks. They are slow counters.
States also have mandatory and set processes for certification. Stay tuned.
The consensus is that, if there are no major surprises, we won’t have a President Elect for 4 or 5 days.
One other thing to look for is the election results in the 10 states that have abortion measures on the ballot.
Arizona, Colorado,Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Nebraska, New York, South Dakota.
How will women, older and younger, and the men who love and support us affect the Election results?
