16 visits to North Carolina since becoming VP. This state is in play.
Gov. @RoyCooperNC: Folks, I have been out there on the campaign trail talking to voters. Vice President Harris has ignited a firestorm of excitement. I have that 2008 feeling. It is time for North Carolina to make history again pic.twitter.com/9ikvvEz9XM

an excerpt from the NC speech.👇
This is brutal for Trump. Harris says, "He wants to impose what is in effect a national sales tax on everyday products necessities that we import from other countries.. A Trump tax on gas. A Trump tax on food. A Trump tax on clothing. A Trump tax on over-the-counter medication." pic.twitter.com/gjv0YcIunx

Vladimir spent two and a half years unjustly imprisoned in Russia for speaking out against Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Trump disparages soldiers as he discusses an award he gave to donor Miriam Adelson.
Touch to watch.
Trump: We gave her the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It’s much better than the Congressional Medal of Honor because soldiers get the Congressional. And they’re in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead. She gets it and she's a healthy,… pic.twitter.com/UYHGB8SnF8

One more thing. Or two.
BREAKING: The Veterans of Foreign Wars just slammed Donald Trump for his horrific comments regarding Medal of Honor winners. Donald Trump’s anti-Veterans and anti-American comments are going to cost him the election.

Whatever you do, do your best to elect Kamala President of the United States.
Whatever you do, do your best to make sure Trump is not elected President of the United States.
Your Daily Reminder.
Trump is a convicted felon.
On May 30th, he was found guilty on 34 felony counts by the unanimous vote of 12 ordinary citizens.
The Convicted Felon Donald J. Trump was scheduled to be sentenced on July 11. He will now be sentenced sometime around September 18th.
Trump Votes In Florida — Here’s Why He Still Can After Felony Conviction.
Trump—a Florida resident since 2019—voted in Palm Beach, Florida, and spoke with reporters outside the polling site after casting his ballot ahead of a campaign rally in Asheville, North Carolina.
As a Florida resident with an out-of-state conviction, Trump would only be prohibited from voting if the state where he was convicted restricts him from voting, according to the Florida Division of Elections.
According to New York law, Trump would only be restricted from voting if he is behind bars, meaning Trump can still vote in Florida as long as he avoids prison time in New York.
Trump faces a maximum sentence of 136 years in prison and up to $170,000 in fines, at $5,000 and/or four years in prison per offense, though legal experts doubt he will see jail time as a first-time offender. (Forbes)

Leading up to the DNC, so much is happening.
Hound Lovers for Harris, Kallin' for Kamala part of Harris campaign pre-convention organizing blitz.
Across battleground states, over 2,800 Kamala Harris organizing events are taking shape: A "Hound Lovers for Harris" meetup at a dog park in Van Buren Charter Township, Michigan, an organizing booth at Wisconsin's Africa Fest in Madison, Wisconsin, and "Kallin' for Kamala" phone banks in Fulton County, Georgia.
They're all scheduled for the weekend leading up to the Democratic convention in Chicago, as the campaign is banking on its "relational organizing model" to maintain the party's enthusiasm, which began with her entry into the race about a month ago.
The Democratic ticket's weekend of action, details of which were first shared with CBS News, will also feature a bus tour with Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, in Western Pennsylvania.(CBS News)
One more thing.
On Thursday, 30,000 Jewish women were on a zoom for Kamala, and one voice really mattered to the others.
Barbra Streisand is on the Jewish Women for Kamala Zoom! This is definitely the main evennnnt! pic.twitter.com/avAf01Rm2s

“It’s been said that Jewish women are known to speak out and tell you what they think and I’m one of them,” said [Barbra] Streisand, seated in a bespoke library. “I’m so tired of hearing Trump put down America, saying ‘Make America Great Again’ because America has been great since 1776. And it’s still great in 2024.”
The singer called Harris a “terrific combination of both compassion and strength, a joyful warrior who will fight for the values that so many of us hold dear.” She went on to praise the Vice President for being a consistent advocate for programs that support gender equality, social justice and voting rights, while noting that in a recent appearance at a rally with evangelical voters Trump promised that if they voted for him just this one time, “you don’t have to vote again,” a line some took as the latest attempt from the former one-term president to erode democratic norms.
“Can you imagine?” Streisand said. “In contrast, Kamala Harris understands just what a privilege it is to be able to vote! And her commitment to health care, Social Security, education and to combatting climate change are the policies of someone who cares about the future of our country, our children and our planet… and not just the profits from big oil.”
“I don’t think he even respects women,” Streisand said as a pivot to Trump’s appointment of several conservative Supreme Court justices who erased half a century of precedent by overturning Roe v. Wade. “I don’t know of any equivalent law giving the government control over men’s bodies,” she said of the decision that eliminated the federal right to abortion.
“Clearly in some people’s eyes women don’t count… oh but we will in November when they count the votes!,” she added with a sly smile before doing the most Barbra thing possible… (Billboard).
