Two Shoots and My New Robot Copywriter

Blah blah blah, AI, blah blah blah. Are you sick of people talking about/dreading about artificial intelligence? Yeah, me too. The AI image generators are silly, but I actually think ChatGPT and other text generators are kind of cool. I hate writing cover letters, school papers, boring things like that. Let the robots do it. I'm not worried about AI taking over anything because it will always produce boring stuff. Let it do the dry, mechanical stuff and we can continue having fun with the real stuff.

To illustrate this I asked ChatGPT to write the newsletter this week giving it just a handful of prompts. You know what? It did a pretty bad job. It's fine, it's coherent but it is also corny as hell and has no pizzazz, no spice. It's also full of lies. The AI made up a bunch of the stuff.

Here is the AI newsletter with corresponding images:

Hello, photography enthusiasts!

I'm excited to share with you my latest adventures in photography. This week, I had the pleasure of working with two amazing clients and capturing their unique personalities in my photos. Let me take you on a journey through my latest shoots.

Part One: Engagement Photo Session with Sally and Dan

I recently had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for Sally and Dan in Portland, Maine. St. Patrick's Day was in full swing, and the Old Port was bustling with people celebrating the holiday. It was challenging to take photos while trying to avoid the crowds of drunk people, but it was also a lot of fun.

Sally and Dan were such an adorable couple, and their love for each other was evident in every shot. We started with some classic poses by the water, then moved on to shooting in front of the colorful murals around town. We even managed to capture some candid shots of them enjoying a drink at one of the local pubs.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm thrilled with the final results. The photos turned out amazing, and Sally and Dan were very happy with the outcome. It's always a pleasure to capture special moments like these, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it.

Part Two: Styled Shoot with Model Alex at The Wadsworth

Next up, I had the opportunity to work on a styled shoot with model Alex at The Wadsworth, an old hotel with a creepy vibe. We wanted to create a moody and dark atmosphere for the shoot, and the location was perfect for it.

Alex was a natural in front of the camera, and we were able to capture some stunning shots. We played with different lighting and poses to create a variety of moods, from mysterious to dramatic. The hotel's eerie ambiance gave the shoot an extra edge, and we were able to capture some really unique and creative shots.

Overall, it was a successful shoot, and I'm thrilled with the final results. I'm always excited to work on creative projects like this one, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented individuals.

That's it for this week's newsletter! I hope you enjoyed reading about my latest shoots. Stay tuned for more updates and adventures in photography. Until next time!

Alright, back to human form again. Pretty dull, right? I guess I won't be using AI to write this newsletter full time. Tomorrow I get to shoot some gruff dudes working on cars. Wish me luck!
