Trip To Florida
Last week I flew on a plane for the first time since before the pandemic. It was pretty weird! I headed down to St. Petersburg to hang out with my sister. St. Pete is great. It's a quirky city with lots of personality and some really easy going, walk-able neighborhoods. It really stands out from the rest of Florida. I ate some great food and met a cool guy named Frank who told me about Banyan Trees and let me photograph him.
It was a brief trip and I came home to more backyard drama. Even more stuff got dug up, piled and burned.
This week I have a session that will hopefully give me an opportunity to shoot shoot portraits on my RB67 and then on Saturday I have a special assignment shooting a birthday party for a woman with early-onset dementia. After the shoot I'll be preparing a fancy album of the photos to hopefully help her remember the event. It'll be a heavy project but I love being able to help with special things like this.
