The Fog!

I had a bunch of shoots this week and I've had to be on constant weather-watch because we have been experiencing different kinds of extremes in all meteorological directions. I had a fun engagement shoot on Friday in Kittery but it had been very stormy the two days prior. Heavy rain and winds blew over trees and power lines. It cleared up just in time for the shoot but the drive there was downright apocalyptic.

The shoot was great. There was no rain but there was plenty of very moody fog.

I shot a wedding celebration (ceremony happened months ago, just a party basically) on Saturday with a bunch of rowdy Boston Police Officers and it was warm and sunny. Then on Sunday I shot another wedding it was a little bit of everything - warm cold, foggy, sunny, maybe a little rainy. The wedding itself was very special. Two brave and wonderful brides got married with their lovely friends and family supporting them.

I've said it before but it's such an immense pleasure and privilege to be able to document so many people's love stories.

On Monday the fog returned and instead of editing like I should have I walked around my little town while our car got new tires.

My season is finally slowing down! This week I have a ton of zoom meetings for weddings next year, double Fort Williams engagement shoots, a coastal wedding, an engagement session in Manchester, NH, and a birthday portrait session somewhere in the greater Boston area. I swear, things really are slowing down.
