Commerce!

a beach with clouds in the sky

Holiday zaniness is upon us. Does it feel like your friends and acquaintances are peddling their hustle and side-hustle goods and services more aggressively than ever as we inch closer to the holidays? Am I just more conscious of it be because I'm attempting to do the same thing? This year one of my off-season goals is to be more proactive with selling prints and things. I just love physical media so much. I love tangible things and beautiful photographs. Pictures are best when they exist in our three dimensional world.

So I opened up a print shop on my website, RIGHT HERE. My focus is dreamy, off-kilter landscape photos of Maine. I get sick of all the imagery out there of lobster boats and pine trees. I'm also selling old zines and will add more to the shop after the holidays.

After a little bit of a lull I did an engagement session this weekend and it was a lot of fun.

Other than that I've been doing administrative stuff and trying to go on walks with Lilly any chance I can get. We went to the beach and the ocean was doing some weird stuff.

I doesn't exactly translate in the photographs but the waves were crazy and the water level was much higher than normal. I love the ocean because sometimes it just feels like acting up. I don't blame it.

We're heading out on a little mid-Atlantic family road trip this weekend. I plan on shooting some film while we're out.

If you have any questions about prints please reach out. The print shop should be pretty easy to navigate. I'm totally fine doing local delivery to avoid holiday shipping nonsense.
