Bon Voyage

Remember a couple of months ago when I was waxing poetic about a silly tree in our yard dying? Well now all the trees on our property are gone. Felled and burned. Our landlord did it, we had no say. My big, beautiful, bittersweet-choked tree got out before the purge. He was lucky.

I'm writing this week's newsletter from a plane flying to New York, then to Florida for some sister-time. Not much to talk about other than that and the trees. I'm sure I'll have exciting Florida stories next week.
