Back To Work
And just like that my slow season has ended. I did a two-part bar mitzvah shoot last week and this week I have a bunch of fun shoots as well.
I shot a bat mitzvah in the fall and it was a blast. Bar mitzvahs have more things happening but the energy levels for both are HIGH. If you've never been to either before you definitely aren't prepared for how wild they get. I shoot a lot of raucous wedding dance floors but bar and bat mitzvahs are on another level. They feel closer to being at a punk or hardcore show. I was told by many people not to be afraid to push my way right into the middle of the action. Energy, dancing, lots of reading, and pizza. There's always pizza.
On Friday I am taking part in my first styled shoot/"content day" and Saturday I'll be doing a group photo-walk in Portsmouth. Either one should make for a fun newsletter next week. See you then!
