[AE.Personal] ADHDevelopments
A bit of personal news that I hope will lead to some professional progress... I have received an ADHD diagnosis and am waiting on meds.
I see this as the first step on a journey of an unknown length rather than its conclusion. It's possible the first medication I try will work well for me, producing positive results without negatively impacting my health in other ways. It's also possible that I will need to try others before finding one that works well for me.
But I am optimistic that I will soon have more energy and focus to get through the day, and more ability to keep tup routines and follow through on my grand plans.
I have been warned that even if the first med is the right one, there may be a period of acclimation so it's unlikely things will kick into high gear overnight, but I hope that when I do have a breakthrough it will be obvious to you as well as to me.
When I'm a bit further along I'll share more details about what I'm taking and how I got here. At this point I want to make sure that my subscribers know what's happening with me but I am leery of getting ahead of myself or possibly jinxing myself into spiking the football before I'm actually in the end zone.
So, I guess, more on this as it develops.
