Turns out I'm an "Old Fashioned" guy!
I had a bad experience with 100-proof Stolichnaya (those Russians!) vodka many decades ago and thus pretty much avoided hard alcohol. While dining with my partner Tammy (sober 30 years) a couple of months ago, I tried a cocktail — an "old fashioned". The mix of bitters, orange and bourbon won over my tastebuds. I've had a number of them since. Recently I decided to get a bottle of "Heaven's Door", a bourbon developed in collaboration with Bob Dylan.
The making of an "Old Fashioned" with Bob Dylan's "Heaven's Door" bourbon. I raise a toast to the Masters of War . . . "And I hope that you die / And your death will come soon."
The number of talents Bob Dylan is graced with is absurd!
